Because of these chemical properties they help in the treatment of rheumatic, bronchial, nervous and skin diseases. Also, the Baños del Inca offer the service of collective pools, individual pools, outdoor swimming pools, massage services, sauna baths that include treatments with eucalyptus, among others. Relaxing in these therapeutic waters is an unforgettable pleasure.

Private Trip From Cajamarca to Leymebamba : The trip is simply spectacular, the journey shows the traveler the climatic and geographical diversity of the Peruvian Orient. A beautiful route and little explored. It is necessary to imagine the amount of ecosystems that can be seen, on route we will pass from the Mountain range to the "two points form an amazing canyon whose depths meander the Marañón River. As you go down the canyon the vegetation grows more and more, the greenness of the fields lights up, the climate leaves its frigidity to become a shame and below see, encased between the foothills of the hills, a kind of long oasis in the middle of wastelands: the town of Balsas". The trip continues to the town of Leymebamba where you'll spend the night

The Leymebamba Museum: It was built from the need to have a suitable place for the conservation of the mummies and archaeological materials recovered in the Laguna de los Cóndores in 1997. This work was carried out by the Mallqui Center with contributions from the international community from Austria, Finland , Italy and the United States, as well as important contributions from the Institute for Bioarchaeology, the von Hagen family and Discovery Channel.

The Leymebamba Museum houses the largest collection of mummies in the world (219 mummies), a unique museum in Peru, with samples of the Inca Culture, Chachapoyas and the influences of the Spanish colony on pre-Hispanic cultures, the very beautiful museum in its interior, as in its exterior areas, was built in 2000 to protect the mummies and the articles found such as ceramics, quipus, looms, musical instruments, among others that remained hidden in the mausoleums of the rocks that surrounded the Laguna de Los Cóndores , the museum has received economic and cultural contributions from prestigious universities around the world, in front of the museum we will see endemic hummingbirds in the company of a good coffee.

DAY 3  REVASH MAUSOLEUMS - KUELAP FORTRESS

Hike To Revash Mausoleums 38.5 KM north distance from Leymebamba, district of Santo Tomás, province of Luya is located the famous Mausoleums of Revash. At an altitude of 2,800 m, the mausoleums are located in a "cave excavated at the height of the limestone rocks of Cerro Carbon.

The Funeral houses: The height and shape of the houses vary. The houses are always adapted to the wall and the space of the cave in the rock where they are located. They can have one or two floors and there are only side entrances. Sometimes, between one mausoleum and the other, there is a wall in common.

Painting And Findings The houses are made of a mixture of stone and clay. Its roofs are only symbolic because they are protected by rock. They are painted red and around there are cave paintings, also in red. This color comes from the seeds of the achiote fruit.

The drawings come from concentric circles and images of camelids (llamas!). There are motifs that represent a cross in low relief, better known as “Andean Cross”, the Andean cross or “chackana”. We can also see “T” and “rectangles” whose meaning is always an enigma. Some scientists are trying to identify the designs that decorate the mausoleums and rock walls. The concentric circles would be symbols of life to accompany the living. Chakanas are associated with power and war: therefore, they are related to death.

Several objects have been found inside these mausoleums. Thanks to them, we can know that they were the prestigious and powerful collective residences of deceased people. French archaeologists Henry and Paul Reichlein believe that the construction of this village of the dead took place in the 14th century.

To The Tribes Of The Clouds, Kuelap Fortress the fortress of kuelap is located 131 kilometers from the village of Chachapoyas Striking citadel of the Chachapoya people at 3,000m. Optimally preserved, equipped with a cable car that cancels the effort to reach it, Offers a fantastic view of the valley. The majestic fortress, an important archaeological site built by the Chachapoyas civilization, is a large stone architectural complex, a well-preserved fortified complex with circular houses. It was inhabited by the proud population of the Chachapoyas, also called warriors of the clouds ... and when you get to the city you understand why (among other things Chachapoyas comes from the Indian word "chachapoyacuno" which means "forest or mountain of fog"). In fact, from the outer bastions you dominate the valley below and the view is truly spectacular.

Kuélap or Cuélap located in the northeastern Andes of Peru, in the province of Luya, was built by the Chachapoyas archaeological culture. Sitting on the limestone ridge on the top of Cerro Barreta (3000 meters above sea level). The platform extends for almost 600 meters and has a perimeter wall that in some places reaches 19 meters in height.

In total, the geoglyphs are composed of more than 10,000 lines, some of which measure 30 m in width and extend for more than 9 km, so they are clearly visible from the air or from the top of the nearby hills.
